2 lbs chicken pieces

Instructions

1.Place chicken pieces in a large pot and cover with water.
2.Add cardamom pods, whole cloves, black peppercorn, dried coriander, cumin seed, cinnamon sticks, and ghee to the pot.
3.Bring water to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer.
4.Add chopped ginger, Omani spices, and chicken bouillon cubes to the pot.
5.Simmer chicken for 30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
6.Remove chicken from the pot and set aside.
7.Add basmati rice to the pot and stir well.
8.Cover pot and cook over medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes, or until rice is tender and fully cooked.
9.Serve the chicken over the rice, with some of the fragrant broth spooned over.
