4 -5 chicken thighs or 1 small stewing chicken

2 stalks celery , diced
1/4 cup green peas
1/4 cup carrot , diced
1 can cream of chicken soup

3 garlic cloves , crushed
1 teaspoon garlic granules ( or powder )
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Instructions

1.In a large pot or Dutch oven, bring the chicken, water, and chicken stock to a boil.

3.Cover the pot and simmer for 45 minutes.

6.If making dumplings, mix the 2 cups flour and 1 cup milk together to form a soft dough. Drop the dumplings by spoonfuls into the stew and cover with a tight-fitting lid. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the dumplings are puffed and cooked.
7.Serve the chicken and dumplings hot.
