1 cup diced onion

Instructions

1.In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and baking powder together.
2.Gradually stir in water, evaporated milk, and 1.5 tsp vegetable oil and knead until smooth.
3.Cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
4.Lightly flour your working area; divide dough into 8-12 portions.
5.Roll each portion into a round shape.
6.In a large pan, heat the 1/4 cup of vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.
7.Add the sopaipillas to the pan one at a time and cook until golden brown on both sides.
8.Remove it from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain.
9.In a skillet, cook the ground chicken breast and chorizo. Add chili powder, cinnamon, oregano, thyme, cloves, salt, and apple cider vinegar.
10.Once the meat is fully cooked, remove it from the skillet.
11.In a separate skillet, cook the potatoes with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
12.Add the onion, cheese, and meat. Cook, stirring occasionally until the cheese is melted.
13.To serve, cut an opening in the sopaipillas' sides, fill them with the meat mixture, and top with salsa verde.
