12 flour tortillas
2 lbs roasted chicken meat , shredded
2 cups cheddar cheese , shredded
1 cup salsa
1 cup green chili salsa
black olives , sliced ( to garnish )
cilantro , chopped ( to garnish )
The Chicken Chalupa Casserole is a Tex-Mex inspired dish that combines shredded roasted chicken with an array of flavorful ingredients. It's typically made with corn tortillas, but in this recipe, we're using flour tortillas instead. This casserole is easy to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings and flavors.

Instructions

1.Preheat an oven to 375°F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted chicken meat, cheddar cheese, salsa, and green chili salsa. Mix well until combined.
3.In a 9x13-inch baking dish, lay out 4 of the flour tortillas in a single layer, overlaid to cover the bottom of the dish.
4.Top the tortillas with a layer of the chicken mixture.
5.Repeat steps 3-4 until all of the tortillas and chicken mixture have been used up, making sure to end with a layer of chicken mixture on top.
6.Garnish the top of the casserole with the sliced black olives and chopped cilantro.
7.Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
8.Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
9.Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
