Ingredients

2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon allspice ( cloves , cinnamon , cardamom )
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic paste
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger paste
onion , for garnishing
2 teaspoons red chili powder
salt
2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
2 cups yoghurt
vegetable oil ( for frying )
12 green chilies
4 drops red food coloring
2 teaspoons cornflour
3 teaspoons lime juice

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, red chili powder, allspice, ginger paste, garlic paste, lime juice, salt, red food coloring, and beaten egg together until the mixture becomes a thick paste.
2.Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well, ensuring each piece is coated evenly.
3.Cover the bowl with cling wrap and let it marinate for at least half an hour or up to six hours in the fridge.
4.Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan or wok and add in green chilies. Let the chilies shine in oil for a while without burning.
5.Then add the chicken pieces carefully into the hot oil in batches, and fry each batch until golden brown. Do not overcook the chicken.
6.Remove the chicken pieces from the oil and drain the excess oil on a paper towel.
7.Garnish the dish with onion, and serve hot with yogurt on the side.
