Ingredients

1 - 1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 package Chi Chi 's restaurante fiesta seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
3 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
6 -12 inches flour tortillas
vegetable oil
8 ounces green chilies , 2 cans 4 ounce each ( do not drain )
1 1/2 teaspoons beef bouillon
3 cups water
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/3 cup water
sour cream
1 bunch sliced green onion

Instructions

1.In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and other ingredients like chi chi's restaurante fiesta seasoning mix, beef bouillon, onion powder, garlic powder, and water for about 10 minutes or until fully cooked.
2.Drain the meat and reserve a third of the seasoning mixture for topping later.
3.Fill each flour tortilla with 1/4 cup of shredded cheese, 1/3 cup of the meat mixture, and 2 tablespoons of crushed green chili.
4.Fold the tortilla tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
5.Heat about ¼ inch vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
6.Fry the chimichangas two to three at a time for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
7.Let the chimichangas drain on paper towels, remove the toothpicks.
8.Serve topped with the reserved seasoning mixture and a dollop of sour cream, and sliced green onion.
