160 g unbleached white flour
90 g oat flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
200 g white sugar
50 g brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon nonfat yogurt
50 g chopped roasted hazelnuts
40 g coarsely chopped milk chocolate
30 g chopped candied orange peel
2 -3 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180◦C/ gas mark 4 and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the white flour, oat flour, baking powder, cardamom, and vanilla sugar.
3.In another bowl, mix the white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and non-fat yogurt until they form a smooth consistency.
4.Mix together the wet and dry ingredients until they form a sticky dough.
5.Add chopped hazelnuts, coarsely chopped milk chocolate, and chopped candied orange peel into the dough.
6.Gradually add the cold water to adjust the dough's consistency.
7.Using wet hands, divide the dough into two equal parts and shape them into two long, flattened logs approximately 5 cm wide and 20 cm long.
8.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
9.Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly, then cut each log into 1 cm wide slices with a serrated knife.
10.Reduce the oven temperature to 140◦C and bake the slices again for 10-15 minutes on both sides, until they are crispy and slightly brown.
