Ingredients

1 1 kg minced beef or 1 kg ground beef
1 1/2 kg potatoes , peeled and finely grated
1 onion , finely chopped
1 egg , whisked ( optional )
150 g flat leaf parsley , finely chopped
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 teaspoons dried mint , grounded
1 1/8 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper , to taste
vegetable oil , for frying

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together the minced beef, grated potatoes, chopped onion, whisked egg, chopped parsley, ground cinnamon, dried mint, salt and black pepper.
2.Mix everything together very well and knead the mixture until it comes together.
3.Take small portions of the mixture and form them into balls. Gently flatten them to make patties.
4.Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
5.Cook the patties until golden brown and cooked through, turning them over once or twice so they cook evenly.
6.Remove from the pan and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
