Ingredients

1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits ( Pillsbury Grands Homestyle )
1/2 lb lean ground beef ( at least 80 % )
1 medium onion , chopped
1 can baked beans with bacon and brown sugar , undrained
1 can kidney beans , drained and rinsed
1 can great northern beans , drained and rinsed
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2.Bake biscuits as directed on can. Cut each into 6 pieces and set aside.
3.In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
4.Stir in baked beans, kidney beans, great northern beans, and barbecue sauce. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
5.Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
6.Arrange the biscuit pieces on top.
7.Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and cheese is melted.
