1 package frozen puff pastry , thawed
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch ground nutmeg
2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Cut thawed puff pastry into 6 rounds using a 4-inch biscuit cutter or cookie cutter.
3.Whisk together egg, milk, flour, black pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl.
4.Press each round of puff pastry into the cups of a muffin tin.
5.Sprinkle some shredded Gruyere cheese into each pastry cup.
6.Pour egg mixture over the cheese in each cup until they are about 3/4 filled.
7.Top each pastry cup with some more shredded Gruyere cheese.
8.Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
9.Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from muffin tin.
