Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs beef , Ground
1/4 cup onion , Finely Chopped , 1 sm
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
6 slices cheddar cheese ( Each slice should be 2 X 2-inches . )
2 tablespoons green chilies , Canned , Chopped
1 dash red cayenne pepper

Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, finely chopped onion, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic salt, pepper, and red pepper sauce.
2.Form the beef mixture into 12 thin patties.
3.Cut the cheddar cheese slices into quarters, and place a quarter of cheese and chopped green chilies onto 6 of the patties.
4.Top the cheese and green chilies with the remaining beef patties, and press the edges to seal completely.
5.Cook the burgers on a preheated grill or grill pan for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
6.Serve the burgers hot, garnished with a dash of red cayenne pepper.
