Instructions

1.Preheat slow cooker on high heat
2.Season pork roast with salt and black pepper on all sides and rub in well
3.Preheat olive oil in a pan and sear pork in all directions until brown crust is formed, remove pork and place in slow cooker
4.Add onion, green chile peppers, hot pepper sauce, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and 2 cups of water to slow cooker
5.Cook pork on high for 4-5 hours or until meat is falling apart and tender
6.Remove pork from slow cooker and let rest for 10 minutes
7.Shred pork with two forks and serve hot with tortillas and Mexican style condiments of your choice
