1 cup long grain basmati rice , cleaned , washed and soaked in water for 45 minutes , then drained before using to cook
2 cups water , to cook the rice

Instructions

1.In a medium pot, add the soaked rice and two cups of water.
2.Bring the water to a boil over high heat.

4.Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice sit covered for 5 minutes to steam.
