Instructions

1.In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

3.Add the chopped carrots, turmeric powder, black pepper, red chili powder, green cardamoms, and bay leaves to the pot and mix well.
4.Add the brown basmati rice, jasmine rice, and Maggi vegetable cube to the pot and stir to combine all ingredients.
5.Pour 3 1/2 cups of water into the pot and bring to a boil.
6.Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot with a lid.
7.Allow the rice to cook for 25-30 minutes, or until all the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is tender.
8.Once cooked, remove the pot from the heat, and let it sit for 5 minutes.
9.Fluff the rice with a fork and add the dried thyme, dried oregano, and chopped parsley, stirring well to combine all ingredients.
