Ingredients

250 g fried panir , cubes ( cottage cheese )
1 onion , ground into a paste
1 inch gingerroot , ground into a paste
6 garlic flakes , ground into a paste
2 tomatoes , ground into a paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1/2 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves ( kasoori methi )
2 teaspoons fresh cream
2 teaspoons cashew nuts paste
2 teaspoons ghee
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/2 teaspoon sugar
salt
Paneer Butter Masala is a popular Indian vegetarian dish made with fresh paneer cheese in a creamy and flavorful tomato-based gravy, seasoned with aromatic Indian spices like garam masala, dried fenugreek leaves, and kasoori methi. It is a staple in North Indian cuisine and is often served with rice or any Indian bread, like naan or roti. Instructions

1.Heat ghee and butter in a pan or kadai on medium heat. Add onion paste and saute till it turns golden brown.
2.Add ginger and garlic paste and saute for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
3.Add tomato puree and cook until it thickens, stirring occasionally.
4.Add red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves, salt, and sugar. Mix well and cook the masala for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add cashew nuts paste and cream. Mix well and cook for a minute.
6.Add paneer cubes. Mix well and cook the paneer butter masala for 3-4 minutes on low heat.
7.Finally, add kasoori methi and cook for 1 more minute.
8.Serve hot with rice or any Indian bread of your preference.
