Ingredients

1 medium cauliflower , washed and chopped into big florettes
1 small bunch spring onion , washed and finely chopped
2 teaspoons ginger , peeled , washed and finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic , peeled , washed and finely chopped
1/4 cup plain flour
3 tablespoons cornflour
1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
2 red chilies , dry
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon milk
salt

Instructions

1.Cut the cauliflower into small florets and wash them thoroughly.
2.In a mixing bowl, add plain flour, cornflour, red chili powder and salt.
3.Add water to the flour mixture to make a thick batter.
4.Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter and deep fry them in hot oil until golden brown.
5.In a separate kadhai or wok, heat some oil and add chopped ginger and garlic and sauté it for a few seconds.
6.Add finely chopped spring onions and dry red chilies to the kadhai and sauté for a minute.
7.Add water to the kadhai and bring it to a boil.
8.Now add cornflour slurry to the kadhai and mix it well to avoid any lumps.
9.Finally, add fried cauliflower florets and stir it well until the cauliflower is coated with the sauce.
10.Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.
