Ingredients

3/4 tablespoon ground coriander

2 lbs stewing beef , cubed
1 onion , finely sliced
5 garlic cloves , crushed
1 inch piece fresh ginger
1 lemon , juice of
2 inches cinnamon sticks , broken into pieces
3/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground turmeric
1 1/2 cups coconut milk
2 tablespoons ghee ( clarified butter )
3/4 cup coconut cream

Instructions

1.In a mixing bowl, mix together coriander, cumin, turmeric, and salt.

4.Add in the spiced beef and cook until browned on all sides.

6.Stir in the coconut milk, bring to a boil then lower the heat and let it simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
7.Stir in the coconut cream and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
8.Serve hot with rice and naan bread.
