1 lemon , juice of
1 kg celeriac
500 g potatoes , peeled and chopped
4 large garlic cloves
50 g butter
2 tablespoons cream
salt

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6.
2.Cut the celeriac into largish chunks, then peel and chop the potatoes.
3.Put the chunks into a pan of salted water and bring to the boil.
4.Simmer for 15 minutes.
5.Drain and leave it to steam dry for a couple of minutes.
6.Tip the vegetables back into the pan.
7.While the vegetables are cooking, peel the garlic cloves.
8.Toss them into a small baking dish with some oil and seasoning in.
9.Roast for 15 minutes, until golden brown.
10.Add the garlic and butter to the pan with the veg and use a masher to get it all nice and smooth.
