The word 'cazuela' translates to 'casserole' in English, and the dish is typically made with meat, vegetables, and a flavorful broth. This sweet version of Cazuela Pie is a popular dessert, often enjoyed during the fall and winter months when sweet potatoes and pumpkins are in season. The addition of coconut milk gives the pie a rich, creamy texture that perfectly complements the sweet flavors of the sweet potatoes and pumpkin. 6.Add the mashed sweet potatoes into the pumpkin mixture and stir until fully combined.
