1 large cauliflower
1 large onion , sliced
1/4 cup butter
2 tomatoes ( scalded , skinned and sliced )
1/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
salt

1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese or 1 1/2 cups grated gruyere cheese
4 eggs , separated
