3 lbs Brussels sprouts
1 tablespoon kosher salt , plus 1 tsp . kosher salt
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup capers , drained
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese ( to garnish )

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2.Cut off the bottom of each Brussels sprout and remove any wilted or yellow leaves. Cut larger ones in half, if needed.
3.In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with 1 tablespoon of kosher salt.
4.In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter.
5.Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook until they are browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.
6.Add the capers, lemon juice, and black pepper and stir the ingredients together.
7.Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a baking dish.
