Ingredients

1 lb flank steak
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 garlic cloves
2 teaspoons ground cumin
6 roma tomatoes
2 medium onions
2 beef bouillon cubes ( prefer Maggie or Knorr brand )
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

1.Cut the flank steak into bite-sized cubes.
2.Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the beef and brown on all sides, around 7-8 minutes.
3.Add minced garlic and cumin, stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
4.Cut the roma tomatoes and medium onion into cubes and add them to the pot. Mix it well. Cook it for 5 minutes until it starts to soften.
5.Now, add beef bouillon cubes and 2 cups of water. Mix well. Bring the mixture to boil.
6.Decrease the heat, cover the pot and let it cook for 40 minutes.
7.After 40 minutes, remove the lid, and let it simmer for 10 more minutes to thicken the gravy.
8.Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
