This pie is a perfect dessert for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any fall or winter occasion. It's best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

Instructions

.To prepare the crust, mix water, salt, and sugar in a bowl and set aside.
.Combine flour and butter in a food processor and pulse until it forms crumbles.
.Add the water mixture to the processor and pulse until the dough is formed.
.Divide the dough in half and shape into two disks.
.Chill the disks in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
.Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
.To make the filling, mix diced apples, frozen cranberries, dried cranberries, salt, brown sugar, granulated sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon zest, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla, and water in a large bowl, then set aside.
.To make the crumb topping, combine brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl, then add pecans and butter and mix together until crumbly.
.Roll out one of the chilled disks of dough on a floured surface and place it in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it firmly against the sides and bottom.
