2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

3 cans black beans , drained

Instructions

1.Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add chopped sausage and cook for 5 minutes or until it begins to brown. Remove sausage and set aside.
2.In the same pot, add onion and sauté for 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
3.Add chopped jalapeno peppers, ketchup, molasses, dark rum, prepared yellow mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, and ground ginger. Mix well and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
4.Add the drained black beans and reserved sausage to the pot. Mix well and cook until heated through, about 5-7 minutes.
5.Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve over rice or with tortilla chips.
