6 egg whites , stiffly beaten

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2.Grease a 1 1/2 quart soufflé dish and dust with the flaked coconut, saving 2 tablespoons for garnish later.

4.Add in the curry powder, dried thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Cook for another minute.

7.Remove from heat and whisk in the egg yolks one at a time until fully combined.
8.Add in the crabmeat, reserving 2 tablespoons for garnish later.
9.Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and lemon juice gently, until just combined.
10.Pour the mixture into the prepared soufflé dish.
11.Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the soufflé is puffed and golden-brown.
12.Garnish with the reserved flaked coconut and crabmeat, and serve immediately.
