In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add the flour mixture into the cream cheese mixture, alternating with 2 tablespoons of caramel topping. Mix until just combined. 5. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter.
