1 cup butter , at room temperature ( use butter , not margarine )
3/4 cup maple butter
2 cups flour
1 pinch salt

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
2.In a bowl, cream together the maple syrup, butter, and maple butter.

4.Form the dough into a ball and flatten into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least one hour.

6.Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges start to lightly brown. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
