PROS

These Canadian Apple Fritters are crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, and have a delicious apple flavor that is perfectly complemented by the zesty lemon and orange notes.

They are perfect for breakfast or brunch, and the whipped cream topping adds an extra touch of indulgence.

CONS

As with any deep-fried food, these fritters are high in calories and fat, and should be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet.

They also require some effort and time to make, so don’t expect to whip them up quickly.

HEALTH & BENEFITS

While these fritters are not particularly healthy, they are made with fresh apples, which are a good source of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants.
The grated lemon and orange zest also provide some vitamin C, flavonoids, and other beneficial plant compounds that may support your immune system and overall health. However, due to the deep-frying process, you may lose some of the nutrients.
