Ingredients

8 slices white bread ( Wonder Bread is fine , the denser , the better )
48 slices pepperoni ( thin slices )
4 ounces tomato sauce , spicy ( I use El Pato brand )
12 ounces mozzarella cheese , shredded
2 fresh tomatoes ( large , sliced )

Instructions

1.Heat up the margarine in a large skillet over medium heat.
2.Take 2 slices of bread and lay them flat on top of each other to make a single pizza crust.
3.Spread 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce over one side of the crust, leaving about 1/2 inch of space around the edges.
4.Place 6 slices of pepperoni on top of the sauce, followed by 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
5.Top with a few slices of tomato, then fold the crust in half and press the edges together.
6.Repeat with the remaining slices of bread until you have 4 calzones.
7.Place the calzones in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
8.Cut in half and serve hot!
