Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
2.In a pan, toast the shredded coconut over medium heat until golden brown.
3.Melt the unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the grated gingerroot and orange zest. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
4.Peel and slice the bananas diagonally into thin slices and place them in a 9-inch ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with caster sugar and lime juice.
5.Pour the orange liqueur over the bananas and sprinkle with the ginger and orange zest butter mixture.
6.Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and shredded coconut over the top.
7.Bake the dessert in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
8.Serve with a scoop of ice cream and a slice of lime for garnish.
