1 clove garlic , minced
1 pound cooked small shrimp , peeled and deveined
ground black pepper

Instructions

1.In a 4 to 6-quart pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
2.Add the flour, and whisk until the mixture is smooth for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the Cajun seasoning.
3.Gradually add the clam juice, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Add the tomatoes, thyme, garlic, and black pepper.
4.Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
5.Stir in the cooked shrimp and cook until the shrimp becomes opaque and heated through for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot!
