Instructions

1.In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy.
2.Remove from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
3.In the same skillet, sauté onion, celery, and a pinch of salt in the bacon fat for 5-6 minutes until translucent.
4.Add in the diced green and red bell peppers and minced garlic. Stir well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
5.Pour vegetable oil into the skillet and stir in flour, black pepper, paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper.
6.Gradually pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
