Ingredients

500 g beef rump , sliced fairly thin
1 medium yellow onion , sliced thin
1 medium red capsicum , sliced thinly
2 tablespoons cajun seasoning ( your favourite )
3 medium tomatoes
1 French baguette
lettuce leaf
The Cajun Beef Roll Barbara Style is inspired by a popular Cajun dish from Louisiana, USA. This sandwich is flavored with cajun seasoning which is a spicy blend of spices, including paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. The sandwich is packed with savory beef, onions, and capsicum which are cooked to perfection and flavored with the spicy cajun seasoning. The spicy beef and vegetables are then served on a warm, crusty French baguette, along with fresh lettuce and juicy tomato slices, making it a flavorful and satisfying sandwich.

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 200°C.
2.In a bowl, mix sliced beef with cajun seasoning until well coated.
3.Heat frying pan on medium-high heat, add the beef to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned, then remove the beef from pan and set aside.
4.In the same pan, add sliced onion and capsicum and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened.
5.Cut the French baguette into 4 equal portions and cut each piece down the middle lengthwise creating two pieces.
6.Cut the tomatoes into thick slices.
7.Layer each roll with lettuce leaves, cooked onions and capsicum, cooked beef and tomato slices.
8.Place the sandwiches onto baking tray and bake in the oven for 5 minutes to warm the bread through.
