8 cabbage leaves

Instructions

7.Add the diced tomatoes with green chile peppers to the skillet, and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the mixture is heated through.
8.To assemble the tamales, lay out a cabbage leaf and spoon about 1/4 - 1/2 cup of the filling onto the leaf. Roll the cabbage leaf around the filling, folding in the sides as you do so.
9.Repeat until all of the filling is used up and then steam the tamales for around 30 minutes.
