Ingredients

1 package extra firm tofu
4 green onions , chopped ( use white part too )
3 garlic cloves , minced
1/2 medium sized onion , sliced
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
2/3 cup soy sauce ( or tamari )
4 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
6 tablespoons organic sugar ( raw or turbinado )
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 tablespoons mirin
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
1/4 cup shredded pear , skin and all

Instructions

7.Cook for 10-15 minutes until browned.
