Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion , diced
1 egg
2 2 teaspoons rosemary or 2 teaspoons oregano ( or 1/2 tsp/2 mL dried )
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces medium ground beef
8 ounces ground buffalo meat
4 kaiser rolls or 4 hamburger buns
4 leaves lettuce
1 tomatoes , sliced
1/2 small red onion , thinly sliced
This recipe of Buffalo (or Beef) Burger is a simple and delicious meal that you can make at home. The buffalo meat in this recipe is leaner and healthier than traditional beef burgers, but you can switch it out for beef if you prefer. The burger patties are made with flavorful ingredients like rosemary/oregano, Dijon mustard, horseradish, and onions that add an extra boost of flavor to this classic meal. Instructions

1.Heat a large skillet over medium heat with the vegetable oil.
2.Add onion and sauté for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally until soft and golden brown.
3.In the large mixing bowl, whisk the egg, rosemary/oregano, Dijon mustard, horseradish, salt and pepper together.
4.Add beef and buffalo meat into the bowl. Mix everything until everything is well combined.
5.Divide the mixture into 4 portions to make burger patties.
6.Heat the same skillet over medium heat and add your patties into it. Cook for 6-7 minutes or until patties are browned and then flip and cook other sides for another 5 minutes until cooked.
7.To assemble, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom of a kaiser roll/hamburger bun and then put a patty on top of it. Add tomato, red onion and another lettuce leaf on top of the patty. Top with the other bun side.
