125 g butter
1 cup sugar

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
2.In a large mixing bowl, cream the 125g butter and 1 cup sugar together until light and fluffy.
3.Add 1 beaten egg to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.
4.Sift 1 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 1 tablespoon cocoa powder into the bowl. Mix well.
5.Add 1/2 cup of coconut and stir until just combined.
6.Press the dough into a lined square baking tin.
7.In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon cocoa powder together until creamy.
8.Add 1 cup of icing sugar and mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a little bit of milk.
9.Pour the topping over the dough and spread it evenly with a knife.
10.Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded coconut over the top.
11.Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
12.Let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
