Instructions

1.Rinse brown rice in a sieve until water runs clear, drain it well.

4.Lower to medium-low heat and stir occasionally for 40-45 minutes, until the water is absorbed.
5.Take off heat and let it rest for 10 minutes with a cover on.
6.In a separate bowl, combine chopped green chilies, fresh ground black pepper, yogurt, and shredded cheese.
7.Add the mixture to the cooked rice and mix well.
