1 tablespoon tomato paste
100 g small shell pasta ( optional )

Instructions

1.Cut the beef into small, bite-sized pieces and set them aside.
2.Peel and dice the carrots, potatoes, turnip, celery, onion, and courgette.
3.In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat, and sauté the beef until browned.
4.Add the diced onions and Sauté until they are soft and translucent.
5.Add the remaining vegetables and stir everything together.
6.Cover with water and bring to a boil.
7.Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1-2 hours until the vegetables and beef are tender.
8.Add the tomato paste during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
9.If desired, add the small shell pasta to the pot during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
