12 oz pasta
2 cups broccoli florets

1/4 cup pine nuts
2 cloves garlic
1/2 lemon, juiced

Instructions

1.Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente.
2.In a separate pot, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until they become bright green and slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
3.In a food processor, combine the basil, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until a smooth pesto forms.
