Britannic coleslaw is a delightful twist on the classic American side dish. The addition of apples gives it a slightly sweet flavor and a crunchy texture that complements the creaminess of the sour cream dressing. This coleslaw pairs well with grilled meats and sandwiches, and can also be used as a topping for hot dogs and burgers. It's a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet, and the cabbage and carrots provide plenty of health benefits. However, the addition of cheese and sour cream does make it a bit less healthy, so it's best enjoyed in moderation.

Instructions

1.Core and chop the apples. Toss them in lemon juice.
2.In a large bowl, mix together the cabbage, carrot, onion, cheese, and parsley.
3.In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream, milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
4.Pour the sour cream mixture over the cabbage mixture and stir until well combined.
5.Fold in the apples.
6.Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

PROS

Creamy and tangy, with a slight sweetness from the apples.
Goes well with grilled meats and sandwiches.
Also great as a topping for hot dogs and burgers.

CONS

Might not appeal to those who don’t like coleslaw or creamy dressings.
