Ingredients

1 whole flounder
1 cup butter , divided
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cups chicken-flavored dry bread stuffing mix
1 can lump crabmeat
1 can small shrimp , liquid reserved
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM , or to taste
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning ( optional )

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

6.Sprinkle Old Bay Seasoning and Cajun seasoning (if using) over the filling mixture and mix.
7.Clean the whole flounder and place it in a baking dish.
8.Stuff the flounder with the filling mixture and gently pat it down to compact it.
9.Melt the remaining 1/2 cup of butter and pour it over the top of the stuffed flounder.
10.Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the flounder is cooked through and the stuffing is lightly browned and crispy.
