50 g dried breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
250 ml milk
2 teaspoons salt
675 g cod , fillet cut into 4 pieces
40 g butter or 40 g margarine , melted

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/220°C/425°F/gas 7.
2.In a shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, oregano, cayenne pepper, and half a teaspoon of salt.
3.Pour the milk into another dish and add the remaining teaspoon of salt.
4.Dip each piece of fish into the milk, coating it well, and then into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the mixture onto the fish to coat it evenly.
5.Place the coated fish pieces onto a greased baking sheet.
6.Drizzle each piece with the melted butter or margarine.
7.Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
8.Serve with tartare sauce on the side.
