If you are looking for a delicious and crispy snack or appetizer, look no further than Breaded Brussels Sprouts. These little bites of goodness are the perfect way to get your greens in, and the breadcrumb coating takes their flavor to the next level. Despite their reputation as a hated vegetable, Brussels sprouts are actually quite delicious when cooked properly. When roasted or sautéed, they become crispy and caramelized on the outside, while staying tender on the inside. But when they are breaded and baked, they become even more irresistible.

Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2.Wash and slice the Brussels sprouts in half, removing any brown outer leaves.
3.In a saucepan, bring the water and salt to a boil. Add the Brussels sprouts and boil for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp, but not mushy. Drain well.
4.In a bowl, mix together 4 tablespoons of melted butter, grated Parmesan cheese, dry breadcrumbs, garlic powder, black pepper, and seasoning salt.
5.Dip each Brussels sprout half in the breadcrumb mixture, turning to coat evenly. Place them in a single layer on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet.
6.Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the tops of the Brussels sprouts.
7.Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
