Ingredients

3 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 lbs Portuguese chourico ( I prefer chourico ) or 1 1/2 lbs spanish chorizo ( I prefer chourico )
2 cups onions , chopped
2 red bell peppers , chopped
4 garlic cloves , minced
8 ounces green chili peppers , mild
4 cans fire-roasted tomatoes , undrained
16 ounces tomato sauce
2 cans black beans , drained and rinsed
1 cup Bourbon
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
2/3 cup Dijon mustard
6 -8 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons salt ( to taste )
cayenne pepper , to taste if you like it spicier
