Boneless beef spareribs are a classic American comfort food that is typically slow-cooked in the oven with a flavorful sauce. This recipe takes it up a notch by adding a sweet and tangy tomato fig chutney that complements the rich flavor of the beef. Boneless beef spareribs are also known as "cross cut ribs" or "English cut ribs" because they are cut across the bone rather than parallel to it. This makes them easier to eat and more tender than regular spareribs. They are typically served with a side of mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread for a hearty meal that is perfect for cold winter nights or lazy weekend afternoons. This recipe is easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time, making it ideal for gatherings and special occasions.
