1 cup arbol chile ( stems removed )
2 roma tomatoes
1/4 red onion
2 chipotle chiles ( packed in adobo )
2 teaspoons adobo sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon cumin
3 cups water
1 tablespoon oil
Bombero Sauce is a spicy sauce that originates from Mexico. Instructions

1.In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat.
2.Add the arbol chile, roma tomatoes, and red onion and cook for 5 minutes.
3.Add the chipotle chiles, adobo sauce, salt, cumin, and water.
4.Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
5.Remove from heat and blend until smooth using a food processor or blender.
6.Return the mixture to the saucepan and bring to a boil again, then reduce heat and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
7.Serve with your favorite dishes or use as a marinade.
