3 fluid ounces red wine ( I used Doppio Passo Botter Primitivo Salento IGT )
3 cups black currant juice
1/4 cup orange juice ( I used blood orange juice )
3 tablespoons dried currants
3/4 cup sugar
3 tablespoons arrowroot
1/4 cup cold water

Instructions

1.In a medium saucepan, combine the red wine, black currant juice, orange juice, dried currants, and sugar. Place the pan over medium heat and bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally.
2.While the mixture is heating up, dissolve the arrowroot in cold water in a small bowl. Once the mixture in the saucepan is boiling, add the arrowroot mixture and whisk until the jam has thickened.
3.Remove from heat and transfer the jam to sterilized jars. Let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
