Ingredients

1 sheet puff pastry , thawed
3 ripe pears , peeled and cored
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup fine sugar
1/2 cup fresh white breadcrumbs
1/3 cup grated nuts ( walnuts , pecans , hazelnuts )
1 egg , for eggwash
2 tablespoons raspberry jam
1 tablespoon lemon juice
confectioners ' sugar , for dusting

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

5.Gently add the grated nuts and fry for another minute.

8.Place strudel onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with eggwash.
9.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
10.Cool slightly, dust with confectioners' sugar and raspberry jam before serving.
