5 pounds baby back pork ribs
1/2 gallon apple juice
1 head garlic , separated into cloves
1 tablespoon granulated garlic
2 cups barbeque sauce
Bill's Smoked BBQ Baby Back Ribs are a classic American dish that has become a staple for summer BBQ parties. These baby back pork ribs are coated with a rub of fresh garlic and granulated garlic, then slow-smoked over apple wood for hours. Finally, they are slathered with homemade BBQ sauce and finished off with a quick smoke to caramelize the sauce. Instructions

1.Preheat smoker to 225°F.
2.Remove silverskin membrane from the back of each rack of ribs.
3.Rub the granulated garlic all over the ribs, then use fresh garlic cloves to press into the meat.
4.Place the racks of ribs in the smoker, bone-side down, and smoke for 3 hours.
5.Remove from smoker and wrap with aluminum foil along with 1/4 cup of apple juice per ribs.
6.Return ribs to smoker and smoke for 2-3 more hours or until internal temperature reaches 190°F.
7.Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and smoke for 5-10 more minutes. Remove, let rest and serve.
